Attention All Birthright
Participants and Organizers!
For the last 15 years, the Heritage House has been running a free hostel in the Jewish Quarter of the Old City of Jerusalem. Established initially as a safe alternative to Arab Hostels, the Heritage House has served over 10,000 guests for short-term stays -- including many Birthright participants.
Birthright organizers should especially mention the Heritage House to Birthright participants, who might otherwise be unaware that there is a cheap, clean, and safe place to stay.
We particularly recommend our Shabbat program that runs every week from Friday through Sunday. Participants are given the unique experience of spending Shabbat at the Western Wall and being hosted for meals with English-speaking families in the area.
